4-Jaw Self-Centering (simultaneous) x 3" Lathe Scroll Chuck adapted to fit Shopsmith 5/8" Plain Spindles. 4-Jaw x 3" chuck with a 5/8" plain Shopsmith spindle adapter. Body is 3" in diameter x 1" thick jaws project. Can hold a variety of round or square stock. For d rilling square pen blanks and turning round or octagonal stock.

Knurled adjustment plate for quick & easy set up. Includes two 4 wrench bars for final tightening. Chuck is threaded 1 x 8 TPI but includes a Shopsmith spindle adapter. Smallest outside diameter gripped by jaws. Largest outside diameter gripped by jaws: 3.655.

Smallest inside diameter gripped by jaws: 1.312. Largest inside diameter gripped by jaws: 3.875. The chuck is by Shop Fox and the spindle adapter is by PSI Woodworking.
