HWR InoFlex VT040 (VTS040) 15.75 through hole four jaw chuck. Self Centering 2 + 2 Jaw Movement. Chuck will be supplied with a A2-11 spindle adaptor plate and your choice of drawtube thread up to M125 at no extra cost. Photos show chuck without adaptor plate. Samchully IDF 380, SMW AutoBlok CENTC04, Kitagawa HW-15. This chuck design offers unbeatable clamping flexibility; its compensating features provide the ability to securely clamp round, cubic and geometrically irregular workpieces when milling or turning. Conventional chucks operate with all jaws moving in the same direction either towards or away from the centre of the chuck whist the Inoflex® chuck operates with the jaws moving together or apart on two parallel axes. Compensation is provided to the diametrically connected base jaws by a sliding gate type gear mechanism.

Chuck is new, never mounted on a machine. Uses same jaws for a Kitagawa B212 12 chuck.

The VT040 is the same as the current model VTS040, the only difference is a minor. Internal design change which improved the repeatabilty slightly. The VT-S repeats +/- 0.003mm.

The VT was about +/- 0.008mm.
