Mid Century Modern, Lathe Turning. Brand New. Just finished this in my shop

  
Just completed this bowl in my shop. It is made from beautiful solid walnut wood. It's 9 in diameter, and it has small brass feet. It's made from 12 individual pieces of walnut, and cross-laminated (every piece is solid walnut), so that the bowl has stability and strength. I applied six coats of finish on the bowl to protect it for generations. I worked as a carpenter / builder / cabinet maker in Portland, Oregon, for over 38 years.

I build a variety of musical instruments, cabinetry, chess boards (See: Chess Boards By Brandon). I have built several very large concert sized Celtic Harps, and several instruments called a Nyckelharpa. There are also a couple other lathe turnings I recently finished as well.
