The turning or boring of precision tapers is readily accomplished on the CYCLEMATIC CTL-618EVS lathe by the use of a taper turning attachment. The taper turning attachment is based on the sine bar principle-swiveling the guide bar from one end. Graduations for setting guide bar are in degrees. The taper turning attachment mounts directly on the back of the lathe bed and is adjustable along the bed to suit the work.
